As the premier association representing IT Services companies across the country, we take ethics very seriously. All IT services that wish to become members, or retain membership, must abide by our Code of Ethics in letter and spirit.

In essence, our Code states that:

  • TechServe Alliance members will, to the best of their ability, properly represent a consultant's skills and expertise.
  • TechServe Alliance members will obtain a consultant's permission before submitting his/her resume to any client.
  • TechServe Alliance members actively avoid presenting a consultant who has been submitted to a client by another firm.
  • TechServe Alliance members properly represent a consultant's pay rate, contract terms, assignment duration, or other subjects pertinent to the business relationship.
  • TechServe Alliance members restrict non-competitive clauses to a reasonable one-year period.
  • TechServe Alliance members refrain from actively recruiting employees of clients.
  • TechServe Alliance members do not induce consultants to leave a current contract.
  • TechServe Alliance members avoid possible conflict of interest situations such as sharing fees with clients employees.
  • TechServe Alliance members adhere to the tenants of equal opportunity for all regardless of race, religion, color, sex, creed, age, handicap, or national origin.
  • TechServe Alliance members abide by all applicable international, federal, state, and local laws with regard to the operation of their businesses.
  • TechServe Alliance members promote free and fair competition among members.
